Professional and educational background
My name is Arnljot Arntsen, I was born in Tromsø the 20th of September 1976. After three years of college in Nordreisa, with a short break of college in Spain, Gran Canaria in 1994.

After finnishing college and my civil serivce I went on to study Information Technology for three years with the College of Finnmark in Alta. Graduating the summer of 2000 when I started in Accenture.

With Acceture I worked for Netaxept for the most time. But also got to work with BP and Vodafone.

The spring of 2004 I left Accenture to work with ODS Petrodata in Oslo. When I worked in ODS-Petrodata I developed FPS-Base.com and MSSPoint.com.

I’m currently holding a position as Senior Consultant with Avenir, where I started August 2006.

Personal

While I grew up on Skjervøy, a small island in the north of Norway. During my youth years on Skjervøy I was mostly absorbed by my interest in computers. But I also participated in the Red Cross Youth organization.

Later as I moved to Grancanaria in my late teens (17 years old) I developed an interest in diving which I unfortunately hasn’t kept with since then.

During my studies at the College of Finnmark I became a father to a great boy named Daniel. Unfortunately I don’t see him as much as I’d like as he lives with his mother up north in Burfjord with his mother who I’m no longer with.

Some years ago I developed a taste for the Cyclade Islands as my girlfriend introduced me to “island hopping”. So any major vaccations I have, I try find the time and money to go there again.

Other spare time goes to my javaprojects or books and movies.
